Combining the efforts of the Export Council of the American Hardwood Export Council and the furniture company Benchmark Furniture, as well as inviting many star architects and designers to cooperate, a unique creative project was created and put into practice.

Outstanding decorator and designer of furniture sets Gareth Neal (Gareth Neil) was extremely excited by the upcoming work with the famous and eccentric Zaha Hadid (Zaha Hadid).

In a creative union, they developed and implemented an exceptional conceptual idea, which is distinguished by simplicity and brevity: dishes made with wood.

The master approached the execution of his unique masterpiece, thinking about the smooth harmonious outlines and silhouettes of Zahi’s construction works. The idea of decor in the image of a water carafe arose after considering the fluid and organic nature of her work, but contrasting it with a functional element to contain the flow of water.

Gareth Neal was interested in using a computer-aided software development studio that would allow him to push the boundaries of digital tools.

He was fascinated by the features of traditional hand craftsmanship processes such as making a pot or imitating a trophy, since they can be achieved through innovative modeling.

Using classical forms for a variety of containers as a starting point, and undermining their appearance by dramatic extremes, thus imitating the traditional carving technique, Gareth Neal tried to ensure that individual pieces and decor objects were incorporated into the general modern art decoration with an incredible feeling of handmade through robot arm.

Vases and water jugs were made of different sizes, shapes and heights. Also, some of them were covered with matte rich paint, which added even more attractiveness and expressive depth to the design of the accessory.

The accessory has two parts in its image, each of which was separately machined using a modeling device. Pay attention to the original and creative surface of the furniture – the numerous waves and plastic lines captivate attention and attract special interest to this designer detail.

At the end of the laser cutting process on wood, the specialist went through the design once again, correcting all the minor flaws and technical oversights.

The result was an extremely expressive work of art that combines the handiwork of a master and the jeweler’s precision of a robot. It can perfectly complement any interior design due to its natural and relaxed look.

The following photo shows both designers who were directly involved in the development of this non-standard and eccentric element of home decoration.

Making an unusual and extraordinary accessory is an incredible example of how to decorate the space of the apartment with a charming handmade product that can warm up in inclement weather and bring expressiveness and special color to the room.

The design of the interior is made by a professional Gareth Neal specialist in collaboration with the designer Zaha Hadid.
